See What Our Patients Are Saying...
"I had a great experience at this office! I went in for a cosmetic consultation regarding my uneven smile due to an uneven gum line. The dentist was super patient with me and listened to my concerns and validated them! He offered laser gum removal as a procedure that could help me achieve my goal of a more even smile. In the past other dentists would downplay my concern and it kept me feeling insecure about my smile. We talked about pricing for the procedure and I was able to book an appointment the following week. The procedure took 35 minutes and it was painless! I highly recommend this office. Everyone was patient, friendly and exemplified a high degree of professionalism." - M.L.
Common Cosmetic Dental Problems
None of us are born with perfect teeth. Fortunately, modern advances in dental techniques and technology allow skilled cosmetic dentists to correct a multitude of cosmetic teeth imperfections. Our skilled team of caring professionals can help address common issues such as:
- Misshapen teeth
- Crooked teeth
- Gaps between teeth
- Damaged teeth
- Missing teeth
- Worn teeth
- Cracked or chipped teeth
- Stained or discolored teeth
How Can Cosmetic Dentistry Improve The Appearance Of My Smile?
Your work with a cosmetic dentist can radically improve the way you feel about your smile. In our offices, we develop a plan that is ideal for each patient's situation and their desired outcome. Cosmetic dental treatments can eliminate tough stains that are causing your teeth to look dull, yellow, or brown. Some treatments can give the illusion of perfect alignment and proportion between teeth, others replace missing or badly damaged teeth that need to be removed. Some treatments correct misalignment and bite issues using sound orthodontic principles. Your cosmetic dentist can disguise flaws like chips or irregularly shaped teeth, they can restore a damaged tooth while also fortifying its strength and making it look cosmetically pleasing. If you can dream it, your dentist can create a plan to bring your best smile to fruition.
What Kind Of Cosmetic Dental Procedures Do You Offer?
Cosmetic dental procedures are popular in our practice, and we love seeing how these treatments make our patients smile. When you visit us, you can expect to receive cosmetic dentistry services that are tailored to your concerns and treatment goals. Want a brighter smile? You can get there through professional teeth whitening or custom-made veneers. Have some discoloration and a missing tooth? Your dentist can devise a plan to address both concerns using appropriate methods, such as a dental implant or a bridge that is shaded to perfectly match your whitened smile. Our experienced dentists craft beautiful smiles through a number of different techniques. Common procedures we perform include teeth whitening in the office or as a home treatment, gum lift, Invisalign, dental bonding, crowns and bridges, and porcelain veneers. We also perform comprehensive smile makeovers and full-mouth restoration to address a combination of functional and cosmetic concerns.
Are The Procedures Painful?
No. We use generous amounts of local anesthetic when performing dental procedures, whether they are intended to repair teeth or cosmetically improve them. Local anesthetic injections can be administered after a topical numbing gel is applied to the gums. This technique can make even the injection process more comfortable. From there, you should feel nothing but the movements of your dentist as they work on a tooth or teeth. After the anesthetic wears off, you may experience slight soreness or tenderness, depending on the treatment you've had done. The use of an over-the-counter pain reliever usually works very well to alleviate these minor discomforts.
Are Treatments Completed In One Visit?
Some cosmetic dentistry treatments can be completed in a single visit. In-office teeth whitening and dental bonding are two examples. Other procedures, such as porcelain veneers and dental crowns, require two visits, one to prepare the tooth and create an impression and another to affix the restoration to the tooth or teeth. During your consultation, your dentist will listen carefully to your concerns and discuss how your desired improvements can be achieved, including the estimated number of visits that may be needed.
Is Cosmetic Dentistry Covered By Insurance?
Dental treatments that are performed solely for the cosmetic enhancement of the smile are typically not covered by insurance. Procedures like dental crowns and bridges, dental implants, and Invisalign or other orthodontic options usually receive some amount of coverage from dental insurance. If you have questions about possible insurance coverage after your consultation, speak with one of our staff. We are happy to discuss insurance questions as well as possible financing options as needed to help you get the smile of your dreams.
A Comprehensive Approach To Cosmetic Dentistry
Many people mistakenly believe that cosmetic dentistry is focused solely on the attractiveness of your smile.
